The trails are open!
225 club ticket sales are going slow. Half the tickets still remain to be sold. Its very important we sell every ticket this year, because the money raised is going into our Excavator fund for future payment. If you haven't received a packet yet to sell, or would like to purchase a ticket, please contact Brad Hilton at 315-298-3261

"Special Thanks"
We want to extend a very special thank you to Bobby
Wheeler of the Townhouse for all his support and help
to put on our First Tradeshow. He not only gave us
unlimited use of his property, but did not charge
us a cent for anything. The Vendor Spots were free
to us, the electricity and water, plus he mowed all
the property. We certainly owe Bobby a tremendous
amount of gratitude. The Townhouse has backed us 100%
from the beginning. They put on a Spaghetti Dinner
for us last year with NO expense to us, and is planning
another one this year. Now we have a chance to really
thank him! The Townhouse is putting on a Wing Fest
on July 9th offering 100 different varieties of wings.
The Wing Fest will start at 4 pm and go till 9 pm,
immediately followed by the Kane Band. Please keep
this event in mind and try to attend.
Another special thank you to Chester Vrooman, one
of our Board of Directors, for his donation of a large
tent for two days at the Tradeshow. This tent provided
a place to sit in the shade for many people to eat
their chicken. It really was a blessing. Thank you
so much Chester. ALSO, a special thank you to all
the good members who came and helped before, during
and after the Tradeshow. It was a hot job. We learned
a lot this year and maybe next year we will get a
better turn-out of spectators. It was pretty HOT!
We also have another special thank you to Les Huntley
of the Great White North Trading Post in Williamstown
who was a vendor at our show, but also donated a Muzzle
Loader to the Club to be raffled off. This is approximately
a $170.00 gun. Thank you so much Les. We also had
another Vendor donate two beautiful hanging baskets
of flowers. Thank you to Brad Kennedy from C &
B Farm & Garden in Oswego.
News
As you all probably know by now, our Trails are open
full time until October 1st. Thank you for being so
patient. We still need help on all our work details
if we are going to continue to build more trails,
so keep the times in mind and try to do your share.
You can call any one of the Coordinators or check
the work schedule at Little Lukey's. The new maps
are also available at Little Lukey's for $5.00 ea.
A reminder to all: Our 50/50 raffles that we have
at every meeting and every function is used solely
for the purpose of covering some of the expenses that
are endured by our officers. Such as gas to go to
many meetings and numerous long distance phone calls
which should not be paid out of the member's pockets.
Thanks for the help. Our annual Pig Roast is coming
up so please try to participate in making it a success.
It is one of our Major Fund Raisers.
West Extension Members
A special thank you to all who participated in our
First Chicken BBQ. It was a huge success. We would
also like to extend a special thank you to Humphrey's
Hide-A-Way for allowing us the use of their establishment
to put this on. Our next meeting will be held on July
19th at 7 pm at Humphrey's Hide-A- Way. Please try
to attend.
