The trails are open!

225 club ticket sales are going slow. Half the tickets still remain to be sold. Its very important we sell every ticket this year, because the money raised is going into our Excavator fund for future payment. If you haven't received a packet yet to sell, or would like to purchase a ticket, please contact Brad Hilton at 315-298-3261

President's Note

Please read and make note of our Sponsors in these newsletters because they are the back bone of our Club. Keep them in mind when you are shopping, eating out, building something or whatever.

News

Starting on May 22nd, 2005 we are having work details on Sunday afternoon at 2 pm also. This was brought up at the last meeting because a lot of people cannot make the work details during the week and quite a few were in favor of Sunday afternoon work details. You can contact any one of our Trail Work Coordinators or check the Bulletin Board in the Pole Barn at Little Lukey's to find out where the work detail is for that day. We really appreciate the help.

Our new maps have arrived which we are selling for $5.00 each. We plan on using this money to help defray the costs of our representation by NYSORVA in Albany. This is a must if we are going to win the big battles. As of right now these maps can be purchased at any of our regular meetings, at Little Lukey's and at the Tradeshow coming up in June. Also, the Hayloft Pub in Redfield is now opened under new management, Mark and Denise Hannon. They are open Tuesday through Sunday 12 noon till, and serving full menus. Closed on Monday. ATVs Welcome. Incidentally, they have also joined our club and have offered to sell maps for us at their Restaurant.

Events

Our TRADESHOW, CRAFTS & FLEA MARKET is coming up fast. As you all know this is quite important to us so we need a lot of help. We will be setting up and getting ready for the show on the 9th and 10th. We are also offering a Safety Course at the show so anyone who is interested should call 298-5444 in advance to make arrangements.

Our next event will be our Annual Pig Roast which is being held at the Altmar Hotel Pole Barn on July 16th at 1 pm. This will be following our July meeting at the Hotel at 11 am.

West Extension Members

The next meeting will be held on June 6th at 7 pm at Humphrey's Hide-a-way on Barker Road. We will be having our first Chicken BBQ on June 25th also at Humphrey's Hide-a-way from 12 noon till 5 pm. There will be a 50/50 drawing and raffles. Pre-sale tickets will be available from Jim Marra at 564-6619 or at the door. The dinners will be $6.50 and $4.00 for half chicken only. We need volunteers to help with the dinners.

We also would like to get as many riders as we can for the 4th of July Parade in Oswego. There will be lots of legislators there and we need to show them strength in numbers. More on time and place later.

Please keep supporting us with your can and bottle returns to N & N Redemption Center, Rt. 3 in Hannibal.
