your receipt and show that receipt when you pick up any special order imprinted
items.
The sale of our Club clothing is at every event and there is a good supply of shirts,
sweat shirts, bandanas, hats, etc. to choose from. Sye

something special.
Plans are being finalized for an additional ride to be held on September 12th to
benefit the Pop Warner Football Team of Pulaski. Details will be provided as we
get them.
What we do know is that the ride will be held on our trails with some slight modifications
for that day only. The rules and cost will be the same as our August ride. Food
and beverages will be available.
Also, please bring your empty cans and bottles to donate them to the Pop Warner
Football Team. Any amount will be gratefully accepted.
This will be just another fun event for all of you to enjoy along with helping your
local community. Mark your calendars now.
To ride our private trails you must be a Club member and be able to show proof with
a Club card and sticker. No saying that you forgot! If you forgot, then don’t ride.
Please do not bring friends that are not members without proper permission.
Every driver must use hand signals.
It is mandatory that you ride according to State rules. You need to wear a helmet.
Everyone is to stay on trails. If you do not want to go through mud puddles, then
it is best that you do not ride. Owners do not want the trails widened any further.
The speed limit on all black top town roads is 25 MPH
to keep the speed and noise down. The members voted on this change during the June
meeting; this takes effect immediately. Also, in the Village of Altmar
the 15 MPH speed limit remains as it is. Thank you all for your cooperation. Keeping
our trails is very important to the Club.
The members attending the June meeting were told that many of our landowners have
been concerned with the noise of many 2 cycle or modified ATV’s and dirt bikes and
are considering banning these machines from our membership.
Unless some violators stop creating noise problems the Club is in jeopardy of losing
some trails if this problem is not addressed. Discussion of a Trail Safety & Security
Team is also being considered. These violators must be stopped to keep the Club’s
trail system. The State requires a minimum level of three decibels.
You should know when you are too noisy and should stay home.
Many of you are not aware that our newsletter is printed by a professional printer.
Because of this the cost of sponsor advertising has to be changed. In years past
any sponsor was allowed to insert one page into one newsletter each year for a small
fee and they would supply the preprinted pages. Since we are now paying for printing
service the cost of sponsor advertising will have to be increased to a cost of $.05
per sheet. Each month the amount of newsletters sent out varies; and therefore so
will the cost of sponsor advertising. The average would be approximately $40. to
any sponsor who would like to have a page added to our monthly newsletter. Sponsors
are still allowed to take advantage of this offer once a year as in the past. Thanks
for your understanding.
Members can now go via the Yamaha Trail into Jefferson County and the Winona Forest.
Please watch the signs carefully, if there are no signs to a particular road then
don’t go. Be aware that the DEC is watching us closely. Not all roads are open in
the Forest area.
We have also learned that the Lorraine Hotel is open to us via Jefferson County
trails.
More trail information will be provided when it’s received.
During the month of July Eddy’s Place in Pulaski is offering a 10% discount to all
Club members. Please be sure to have your membership card with you.
